Hi everyone.
I posted previously about upgrading a 500 to a 570 engine but it seems rather complicated as the valve head is also different along with the piston etc.
In speaking with a mechanic in Brisbane, he mentioned that the issue I am having is common in the Ace 500 and 570 where there is wear in the valve head. I am not sure yet if it is the valves itself, or a wear of other related parts, springs etc. I have not been able to open it yet because currently it is my only ride.
It cuts out if I stop suddenly, sounds a bit like a typewriter. It may also be going through oil but no sign of a leak.
Anyone had issues like this? The wear is high, 34000 km, runs well otherwise.
