Yea,I have always been pondering the real need of it. But I would like it in the event of a roll over, but seat belt should do the trick as well. Really just gives it that race look I guess.

Harnesses definitely have their place. Anyone who does extreme stuff and/or rides every day in places that a misstep would send them rolling down a hillside should use harnesses.
But these days I do very little of that, and more "safe and sane" riding. Some people would call it boring.
But I still have a lot of fun, and the more challenging stuff I do is done in places where a mistake is not likely to kill me.
So I find that being strapped in that tight is detrimental to my enjoyment of the ride most of the time.
Thus I found myself not wearing my harnesses because they were inconvenient.
And that is how I came to NOT be wearing it when I rolled my RZR in January, stupidly attempting to do a quick turnaround on a wide flat service road by spinning my tires.
I'm getting ready to re-fit my RZR with stock seat belts.
Once that is done and I am happy with the results, I will be selling my harnesses.
