Actually, I think you'll find it was Idahopilgrim, and I did not even make an entry on that thread.
http://www.aceforums.net/forum/26-polaris-ace-month/217-ace-month.html

I always hated "Whatever of the month" stuff, whether it was employee, RZR, ACE, whatever.
I feel that it makes everyone who wasn't selected feel a little bad. At least that's how I felt.

And there will always be someone who spends way more money than me on bling for their ride (no offense meant).
So I simply did not participate.

OK, point taken, wasn't really looking for "Whatever of the Month". Just wanted to drum up some Pics from other members and heck yeah I wanted to show off some of the sweat equity I put into my Ace, blingage and all. Idahopilgrim did it nice by the way. Gave me some ideas for mine, hope I gave some ideas to others.

How do you like those tires.

Not the best for hard pack trails but get the job done rather nicely, they really shine in the sloppy stuff down here in Louisiana. Not bad at the go but really smooth above 5 mph and not crazy like "Outlaws". Just enough tire for the Ace if mud is in the mix. I like them for their all around performance. Crossed over some small dead fall in the woods no problem, plenty bite. Ran Mud Lites on a 450 Foreman a few years ago and I think these ride as smooth and perform better in the muck. 9 & 11 Zillas at 26" on 14's. Actual circumference is closer to 25" which keeps the mileage on the speedo very close to actual.

Maybe I sounded harsher than intended. I don't have any issue with other people doing those sort of contests and stuff, I just don't participate myself. Woulda just passed this thread by if it hadn't had my name in it. :)

Your ride does look awesome. My friend Graig would particularly dig the machete.

No worries, just confused Idahopilgrim's thread with one of yours. The Machete is very useful here because the trails grow over so fast in spring. There is the snake issue here as well, that blade has dispatched several water moccasins, cottonmouths and the occasional copperhead. I usually let them go about their business unless they are after my chickens or on rides with the nieces and nephews along.

Alright ya'll, Scoundrel tried to start this off with his ride and here is my version of an Ace. Come on, post some pics of your ride's. Gotta way to go yet, winch, LED bar, EPS, better seat, steering wheel upgrade, exhaust, snorkels and the audio pod are in the future but I think I have a good start. Post your pics, let's see what we all ride

Headlight skins

How did you do the headlights?
The one in my avatar is a Photoshop job.
Yours looks like it wouldn't dim the lights too much.
Invisionartworks.com headlight skins. They are perforated and let through most of the light, got'em for protection from brush. Some of their stuff is downright evil but I thought the Eclipse version on mine was quite apropos for the Copperhead Ace. Kudos Scoundrel, I got the idea from your Avatar and when I went looking to cover the ride I found the headlight skins.
The plastic is covered with Camoskinz. I use only the removable stuff, easier install and repair as needed, also aids in brush protection, can be ordered in various size rolls for whatever you want to cover or repair, too much brambly stuff here. Their selections are pretty wide and I almost just covered the factory decal areas but went whole hog because white on the ride was not for me. Already have a white truck, besides hunting requires camo. The bumpers and roof are rattle can over fishnet laundry bag to get the snakeskin look...It's a Copperhead theme thing...or sumthin'.

Hey ACE Ventura, how do you like the winch down low? Due the mud here I am thinking higher up on the bumper, don't want to have to waller in the mud for my hook. Like the nerf's too.

Copperhead its not as bad as i thought it would be i simulated being stuck in a mud pit yes i had to reach in the mud and water but it didnt bother me to much. only thing im worried about is hittting a rock or root and breaking the plastic cover on it. the nerfs have saved me from ripping up the rocker panels i would recommend to anyone i know they are pricey but i like them for that point alone

Scoundrel, I went with the Trail Boss 10-13, perfect fit and no third light like the Sportsman 400. As far as street legal goes, when they are on you can't really see the skins, probably not legal though. Just ask the local Constable to look closely then turn on the lights, give him/her a hanky and wait for them to focus before discussing it further, LOL.
