I like it. I just wonder if it'd be easier to mount a stereo on the underside of the Polaris poly roof

Aluminum tops in my opinion are heavier and have a tendency to squeak with out mounting rubber between the top and roll cage.. But you will also find them not being as dense as the ABS plastic top you will have echoing in right conditions from the motor.. I like the look of the lines on factory top .

I notice that it has a nice drip edge on the rear, it looks like it may have one on the front as well. I think that part may be a little better than the poly roof. I also see they lined the cage with foam so it wouldn't make any noise. One thing is for sure, if you roll it, you will be glad you had the metal roof!

Not to mention better/easier to mount lights on.

I have been happy with the Polaris canvas top on my RZR.
It gives better rain protection than the poly roof because it does not have the inward angles in the middle of the sides, but the canvas will flex if you're rubbing a tree.
It took a beating without damage, still waterproof after 2 years.
Until I rolled the RZR. That scuffed up the corners of the top but it is still fine everywhere else.
I ordered a canvas top for my ACE.

I just brought the ACE back from R&D at EMP. We raced it around all weekend. I am biased, but I do like the top. There are a couple of Cross-Breaks in the large area that can not really be seen in these photos that adds a nice dimension to the look and stiffens it up. Better coverage than the existing poly (flares out slightly around the shoulder area). Comes with gasket to go between the roof and cage... no rattle observed. Rain gutters formed in front and back; edge trim on the sides. I didn't notice any extra noise reflection from the engine, but it's noisy anyway. It's a sturdy mount for the light bar on top. Blazed through some overgrown trails (lots of branches) and it held up well. Shipping weight is about 18lbs; top probably weighs somewhere around 12.

The other accessories on here from EMP are: Front Brush Guard / bumper with winch mount (Viper winch mounted); front windshield; rear-view mirror; rear 2" hitch receiver. They have a half windshield and rear MR10 poly window also (not in these pictures).

Hope you're all enjoying the ACE! My 13 year old and I sure enjoyed this weekend. View attachment 411 View attachment 412 View attachment 413

I love the beefy look of the bumper. Just curious, with the winch and massive bumper does the radiator still get good flow? Here in Oklahoma we easily get in the 100s during the summer and the little engine will be working hard, want to keep it as cool as possible. If it gets good flow I will definetly have to consider one.
