Has anyone put a bigger/different battery in there Ace.... Will it need one with light bars,led whips and stereo or other acc.

I have not put all the electrical accessories I want yet but you can bet I will putting a bigger battery on mine since the battery compartment will accommodate one. I see in the owners manual that the alternator output is 450 W @ 7000 RPM. My experience with my 2013 Sportsman 400 with a winch running the plow, hot grips, thumb warmer, and lights on the low voltage light came on at least twice over the course of the winter.

Does Anyone Know?

While cleaning up my Ace, came across what looks like a pig-tail connector for a Battery Tender located on the driver side rear in the wiring harness running to the tail light. Any ideas? It may be for a Battery Tender, but would like to know for sure!

Hi rmorgan84a, I don't think that is for a battery tender as it is on the switched circuit. I wired my license light to it. cheers
