****THIS INFO IS OUT OF DATE*******

So after looking up the drive belt for the Ace 570....

Polaris part # 3211113 costs about $165
Dayco part # XTX2254 costs about $99 and is available at Autozone.
Gates part # 23G4057 costs about $50 online or $65 at Oreilly Autoparts.
Gates part # 23C4057 costs about $109 at Oreilly Autoparts. This is supposed to be stronger than the non carbon version.

To find this info, I looked up the Ace 570 part on the 2015, and the RZR 570 part on the 2014 and found that it had the same Polaris OEM part #. I then went to Dayco and Gates website and looked up the RZR 570 2014 (did not have the Ace 570 2015).

Figured this may come in handy some day.

Base model ACE 570 (blue & white ones) should use the Polaris 3211169 belt, think full list price is $99.

The ACE and ACE 570 SP use the Polaris 3211149 belt, that one lists at about $165.

Please pardon my ignorance (been out of the sport for many years, and not all that familiar with the clutch system) my guess is that the belt can be turned inside out once teeth on one side are damaged? Is this correct? Still haven't took off those covers and looked to see the inner workings of this beast.

Naw, once those belts are done, they are done. They are V-shaped and they wear on both sides of the V.
Check out this thread for lots of pics and stuff to understand a lot more about the system: http://www.aceforums.net/forum/13-ace-how-s-guides/184-emergency-belt-replacement-trail.html

We lost a Grizzly belt on the Paiute ATV Trail system. Pictures below. You can see how it's not re-usable.
Sometimes those belts shred instead of just chunking apart, and there are strands of string everywhere.
I suppose in a dire emergency we might have tried turning the belt inside out and limping back to a road, but I'm not sure it would have worked.
But we had a spare belt on hand and the tools to change it out.

I agree doesn't look like it would work, I'm curious why they have ridges on both sides. Maybe something with the manufacturing process? When I used to ride snowmobiles more (1995) the ridges were only on one side. I read the thread before on how to change the belt, very good info. I need to order that puller.

Well, I think I am going to pick up one of the Gates belts as my spare. Unless anyone has information that would disprove my assumptions. Any help is appreciated.

So I am trying to do an update on this thread a year later. I am concerned that Polaris has been disturbingly sloppy with documentation.

The Gates website only lists a belt for the 2015 Ace 570.

The Gates website lists: (REFERENCE POLARIS OEM # 3211169)
2015 ACE 570 = Product #98271109 Part #25G4076 (Non-Carbon). ($73 @ O'reillys but not stocked usually.)
2015 ACE 570 = Product #98231039 Part #25C4076 (Carbon). ([email protected] O'reillys but not stocked usually.)
*Only included the local store name in case someone thought you could pick one up locally to save your weekend. NOPE, the 2015 RZR 570 belt is part # 23G4057 and about 5mm shorter, 1mm thinner.

Specs:
Double Notched
Angle = 26
Outside Circumference = 41.937" / 1065mm
Pitch Length = 40.764" / 1035
Top Width = 1.246" / 32mm
Cord Position = .165" /4.2mm
Pitch Width = 1.169" /29.7mm
Thickness - .537 /13.6mm
Weight Lbs .92 Carbon & Non- Carbon

ACE 325 uses belt # 3211149 (2014, 2015 & 2016)
ACE 570 uses belt # 3211169 (2015 & 2016)
ACE 570 SP uses belt # 3211169 (2015 Only)
ACE 570 SP uses belt # 3211149 (2016 Only)
ACE 900 SP uses belt # 3211149 (2016)

So,
It looks like the last post had a little confusion or maybe it is just me .
But, I wouldn't have an idea of why a 570 and a 570 SP would take a different belt except maybe because of the engine braking .
Has anyone change a belt yet on a 2015 570 and can verify the correct belt ?
Thanks
