I'm very interested to see some stereo setups that will be put into these beasts. It will be interesting to see if more people go with the "ATV" route with an audiopipe, or the "RZR" route with custom speaker boxes on the floor, on the cage, etc.
I know this is an old thread but I'm hoping this might start it up and get some comments and pics! I'm thinking a Pyle waterproof amp and marine speakers mounted in PVC caps. Anyone have a similar setup and if so how's the sound while ridin the trails?
Come on guys! I know some of you have some stereo ideas or either pics of one you have already installed. I REALLY want some tunes while I ride and with the knowledge on this forum I know y'all can help.
Well, it's probably not what you're looking for, but I've used this on my RZR and very happy with it... I just post it on the back top rollbar..
Has lot's of sound... heck, just ask Scoundrel, Paul, .... I can't hear those crys for help... LOL...
but for a quick n easy. works for me.. Logitech Ultimate Ears Boom Wireless Speaker, Night Black
Remember, you're competing against the engine noise...
Thanks!! I'll check it out. I really appreciate you responding. Was beginning to think either nobody had a stereo or either nobody wanted take the time to help me out. I'm thinking the second one! Lol!
Yah, I would guess it's more of not many people have them yet...
So You're a Star-Breaker, heheh, or whatever it's called to lead the way...
It takes a little bit of time for the Mfgs to get one setup and available... should be getting more, but you might consider the above. It's blue tooth, water resistant and I got the little packet to put it in.
Also, you can simple take it off and use it around the campfire if need be... as you can tell, I rather like it...
I have no interested in a stereo in my vehicle, but I understand Extreme Metal Products is making a custom roof that will fit their stereo. The roof is available now, not sure about the stereo.
How's the sound of the plye amp and speakers and how did you mount the PVC caps in the lock & ride holes? Thanks for responding! That's exactly what I was looking for!!!!
Sound is very good and used lock and ride pieces but replaced eyelets with bolts an washers and drilled housing to mount before speakers were installed
