We each have different driving styles. Engine braking is a feature that I would pay Polaris some extra money to have. I would also willingly pay extra money to have EPS. I rode today and two trees and several large limbs had fallen on my trails. I hit a couple of limbs at speed and the impact jerked the wheel hard. As on old man, EPS would have been a big help. Engine braking is the same issue for me. My trails have a lot of terrain change with some sharp curves around trees. It was more pleasurable for an old man to ride down these inclines on a Sportsman 500 with engine braking. I never touched the brakes and never downshifted. On my terrain I was able to control the speed on all downhill slopes just by varying the amount of throttle. I cannot do that with the Ace. If I give it enough throttle to engage the clutches, I will wrap the Ace around a tree due to too much speed. Again, I would pay Polaris for both of these features. As an old man still trying to enjoy life, these features would make driving the Ace a more pleasurable experience.
