Hi all, I have an Ace 325 and pulled the secondary clutch as I was chasing a noise. Seems there is a spacer washer that keeps the two sheaves from touching but there is contact between the alloy housing. It doesn't seem right but im not certain so any advice welcome if you have seen this before.

I was told that the driven clutch usually wears out in 4500 miles. I had a noise in my 900 that drove me nuts. I replaced the driven clutch and the noise stopped and it engages so much smoother. I have 8600 miles on at the time I replaced it. Look for wear on the housing where the pucks slide when it engages. Good luck.

I think you’re right and being a 325 it is usually wide open. Lots of alloy dust too. Fortunately I have a good 570 now so the 325 is for mates to play. 900 must be fun, just more of a good thing ;)

I started with a 570. I put a 2" lift on it and 1 1/2" wheel spacers. Then I went up a tire size. It sure made a big difference in the way it felt on the trails and a lot more stable. I hope you get your 325 dealt with.
Take care.
