Got the ACE serviced yesterday, the dust here seems to eat up $42 air cleaners. Got to look into a snorkel or pre-filter.
Bought a hard trunk which cuts down on some of the noise. TIP; if you don't have a wind screen, try not to smile to much while riding. You'll swallow a bug!
Average speed before first service: 16mph.

I was wondering about a better air filter. I have been using cleanable Spectre filters on my truck since early 08 and have a set that are clean ready to install in my bed box. Thought I saw a Spectre filter on a Ace on Utube. Proper fit is the issue and getting it inside the box for snorkeling later. Nothing from K&N yet but I am sure it is in the works. Oh, and by the way, getting the windscreen is essential because the smiling won't stop! LMAO!:yahoo:

Don't like the idea of cutting on the ACE for a snorkel, but I think I'll fabricate a plate to replace the pre-filter retainer on the right side and run a Uni Pod foam filter instead of the course scotch brite.
