Got my ace today

Went and picked up my ace today, the owner wasn't in so another sales guy handled my paperwork... He made the comment that he doesn't know why I got such a good deal and discount when other dealers are selling them for 500 over list..
He also said the next 2 they have coming in are sold as well.

Got my front window rear window top and front brush guard... Rear brush guard and mirror are back ordered.

Install went pretty good.... I didn't think the brush guard was going to be worth a crap, it comes in a lot of pieces and takes some time to get put on, but after it was all bolted together and on the machine it feels pretty sturdy.

Did some riding, I was surprised how well it handles and steered (no need for PS with this machine)
Went out in the corn field and opened her up across the rows... Super smooth at 40 mph

Went and climbed some big long steep grass hills.. Did it in 2 wheel drive, it really hooks up and put the power to the ground.
Going down the hill in low range, it has what I call engine braking, just like my RZR. Just tap the throttle and she slows up and the rear tires slid a bit.. It's pretty steep and muddy, I was pleased at this, as it really slows you without using the brakes, out in Colorado with my rzr it's a life saver in the mountains.

Now, this will not be a replacement for the RZR, they both have their place...this thing is going to be a blast though... Can't wait to blaze some trails this weekend.
I have an old beat up ITPs and bighorns laying around, I think I'll throw them on tomorrow.

All in all I don't think there is much I would change on this machine so far, it is a good value for what it is... And will be a blast for sure.

Awesome! That brush guard comes in a lot of pieces?

I would say 5 or 6 plus all the bolts.... It's quite a puzzle. :)
I totally agree with everything you said. I got mine a couple weeks ago and I have been to two of the best atv parks in our area and my lil ace has taken the challenge and made me a believer! I felt secure, comfortable and IN CONTROL of a experience worth paying for. It has all the power you need when wheelin yet it gives the sense of control. She will take off and climb the hill when you need it to. I DONT look forward to putting a scratch on my baby but I know that it is coming because this thing is going to allow me to do things i couldnt safely do on my old 2003 polaris 600!

Probably for cheapness of shipping. Kinda sux unless you can buy the pieces individually when you bend them. :rofl3: I crack myself up.

If it starts rattling loose I s'pose you could bring the assembly to a local welding shop and have it fused together.

The main guard is in one piece. Just a ton of brackets... I was thinking about getting the welder out, but if you ever had to take it off you would be super screwed
Love the pics and the review of your riding so far. Our local dealer said he can't keep them in his showroom either. No one wants to put a deposit down, but everyone wants one when they see it. Sounds like Polaris hit it out of the park with this one....
