well i never even herd about the ace and i walk in a dealer saw it and purchase it, even had them put a bunch of add on's on it, i said this is perfect for me, they delivered it to the house got it off the trailer, dead battery had to jump it, took it for a spin then the seat belt fell off, 2 days later check engine light comes on code 84, so they picked it up to check the codes and to put the doors on it that i ordered, i only had it for 4 days, it took 2 weeks to get it back and i notice when they put the door pins in they didn't put the pin clips in, (i will do it myself) they said they put a new battery in it in updated the computer but they still don't know what the code 84 was because the engine light never came on for them, i also asked for someone to go over the hole machine with me to explain it to me since i never own anything like this, that never happen either, this experience has bin upsetting for me but i only hope it will get better, i lost trust in the dealer ship that i purchase it from so i guess i will be asking a lot of questions on this site, thanks.

Sounds like you had a very bad experience. My purchase was just the opposite. Very good service and no problems yet!

Post some pics if you get a chance!
That sux dude. Definitely time for a new dealer, it sounds like the one you had the misfortune to buy from is really not up to par.
Let us know how we can help!

You should check out this thread: http://www.aceforums.net/forum/9-ace-talk/266-diagnostic-codes.html
I saw that you've posted on another thread where code 84 is thought to be a speed sensor code - but the one I just linked above goes into a bit more detail.
thanks guys for all the help, I really do like the ace I plan on keeping it for a long time to come, when you buy something brand new with a warrantee and you only had it for 4 days I guess you expected nothing to go wrong and if does you expected to get it fix right, and get it back at a reasonable time, but I guess the dealer's are more worried about just selling them, well I hope no run else had the problems I did,
You had every right to expect that it would work properly when you got it home with no issues.
That's what the dealer charges the assembly fee for, and why they (are supposed to) do a pre-delivery inspection checklist.

Hope things go better for you moving forward.
