I have a 2014 Polaris Sportsman ACE and it has the HMF swamp series XL full exhaust, HMF Gen 3 Optimizer fuel injection controller, and a uni filter foam air cleaner. I'm curious about what settings i should use on the fuel controller?
My experience with fuel controllers on several ATV/UTV's has been to add the Auto Tune. It eliminates guessing what maps to set. The AT constantly adjust the mapping of fuel, timing, air, to the demands of your ride, keeping the engine at peak performance. It's like being on a dyno. If your driving flat out for speed it adjusts to that condition, if your climbing steep trails it adjust to that demand, deep sand or snow it will adjust. The Gen 3 Optimizer or CommanderV with bacic setings really doesn't do much. And with your HMF exhaust you could realize a serious HP gain if you added the Auto Tune. In fact you are probably running lean without increasing the fuel delivery.
Just my 2 cents.
