You guys tell us what tires gonna put on your ACE after ya get one. I got some 26" ITP Bajacross tires w/SS312 wheels that I've had laying around the basement for a few years and still have well over 90% tread on them. I'll probably use these at first after I get one. I had them on my RZR 800 for a while, but was a little displeased with how they're performance was in snow and slick stuff. Of course this tire is primarily designed for rocky hard pack, so I guess I should have known. I switched to something else and just left them sitting around.

I test drove an ACE this weekend and I fully agree that large heavy tires will kill this machine but I think there are a handful of tires that are light enough to go to a 27-28. I'm going to wait a little while to buy one for a few reasons, mostly $, but I also want to see what works and what doesn't. Right now I'm thinking 27" zillas on machined 14" ITP SS212. Zillas are the lightest 6 ply tire I've found and I love the 30's I had on my Teryx and now teryx4. Sadly they aren't designed to carry the weight of my VERY heavy Teryx4 so I'm going to a 28" 8-play radial. On a lightweight machine like the ace tho, they will be perfect.

The Ace takes the same wheels as the RZR's, on my RZR I use four front wheels (12x6) with 25x8x12 tires, the smaller lighter wheels and tires really wake up the machines and seem to not effect my ability to go through the mud or climb at all! I've got wheels and tires waiting to put on my new Ace. On the fronts I'll run the stock Carlisle 489's and on the rear I'm going to run CST Abuzz or mudlite tires for muddy conditions then Maxxis 4speeds or the 489's for dryer summer conditions. I chose tires based on tread and more importantly weight...

Well my hubby decided to try his wheels which are Rzr wheels that he has on his 800 Ranger midsize on my Ace. They are ITP Baja Cross tires with crusher Polaris rims and of course 1" spacers. Tire sizes are as follows front- 26x9x12 rear-26x11x12. Wow what a difference! Looks cool as hell but serious power rob and ride difference. The tires are definitely too heavy for the Ace, kinda figured they would be but it was one of those gotta try it things! View attachment 875

I just bought a new ace. I have ordered a set of 12x8 4+4 4x156 VISION ATV wheels with 27x9-12 Carlisle at489 tires same brand as what came on it. these are taller but not much heavier. I have spacers but I am going to try the wheels with out them. I am building a trail trailer and plan on using the same wheels and tires sort of a one size for all. will update the progress when I can.

I just ordered the Raceline Scorpion 12"x7" wheels from Discount Tire. My local store matched the web price and $50 discount making each wheel $65. I purchased an extra wheel and tire to mount a spare to the rear brush guard. Will post photos when everything is in.
