I purchased the MTX stereo for the ace and love it. It sounds great. Most of the install is a breeze except getting wiring harness out of roll bar. Have to have a small hook to do this. I was also surprised it does not come with an antenna.? But sounds great and is built very well. Very nice.

I just got mine installed this morning. The wiring goes through the pipe for the roll cage, so no wires, and it's very very loud. There is NO chance of not hearing it. The controls are easy to use, you can set 5 preset radio stations for both AM and FM, use Bluetooth or aux. the Bluetooth controls my iPhone and works very well. It even comes with two sets of LED lights. There is a USB connection for power (not for sound), but there is a headphone jack for audio out if your music player doesn't support Bluetooth. I do notice that my radio reception isn't very good, but I also live in the middle of BFE so that's not surprising. Even at the high price, I'm very happy with this purchase.

We now have the MTX Radio. We do like it, ours have 15 presets. The nub next to where the wire harness exits the pod is for an external antenna. Which I will do, as the internal antenna is weak, expecially in the woods. May just buy an extra lock and ride clamp to mount the external antenna. So far Lori and I like it, her downfall to it is we had to remove her beloved overhead bag. My only gripe besides the weak antenna , sitting for lunch or a break you must keep ignition on to have tunes. Won't risk killing the battery.

You could probably mount up a tiny aux battery and put in an A/B switch, and power the radio with the little battery while stopped, and the main 12V system while riding.
Then just hit the small battery with the tender when you get home.

On the plus side you'd have a jumper battery too. :)
Could you tell me where you hooked the wiring harness up to? I have this same stereo and am trying to install it myself. I cannot find where the 3 wiring leads get connected. Thanks!
