Since this is an all new segment they had to start somewhere. They wanted a machine that anyone could drive, that was safe and give the owner or drive confidence on the trail. Not to mention you can always add power and add special editions and performance packs
I can understand the rationale of being in a new segment.
Only concern is a small engine doing big jobs may not excel well in the reliability department. Since the engine would have to work harder and longer.
Nevertheless I am glad Polaris came out with this. Surely larger engines will appear as we go along.
Last thing I want to do is to run along side the xp1000s. Lol
Plenty of room for larger displacement in the Ace frame..this is a great introduction machine/price/safer/confront and as bigger motors come and add more travel, EPS etc etc so does the cost increase…but I willing to pay..
