Well I'll be damned. Some of the rzr seats for sale don't have the frame. So I can just bolt mine to it?

I don't know about those particular seats but the frame is the same, so if it will bolt to the RZR frame it will bolt to the Ace.

They aren't a direct bolt in due to differences in the tracks. Remove the tracks from the Ace seat, use some flat stock to act as a mounting adapter for the tracks and make it work on the bottom of the RZR seat. I'll post pics of my seat base when I get home.

That's 3/16 flat stock. The RZR tracking and slider mechanism aren't compatible with the Ace.

Yep, I learned the hard way, bought a rzr seat from a 2017 RZR 1000 xp4 for my 2016 Ace 900 SP, and it is 2 inches off center meaning the 1000xp is 11 inches bracket to bracket while the Ace is 9 inches. Hoping someone can point me to a place that sells a seat bracket conversion kit so I can make it work.

Hi, appreciate you taking the time to send. I actually read your entire post and looked at your pics prior. I didn’t want to have to drill and tap, glad it worked for you. I was lucky enough to find an adapter kit that will make the 1000 seat work in my Ace 900.
