Do you have photos of front view and rear view? Does it work with Lock and ride box?

I'm curious how much more it weights compared to the stock cage. With the little Ace, i dont want to rob too much speed/power with too much extra weight.

Did you get the weld it yourself kit? How many pieces was it? How long would estimate it took to weld? Is the bumper also a kit or a pre-fab unit?

its a complete pre-fab kit with the bumper included, I needed to save some space so I ended up changing the rear section of the cage. I also raised the roof line a bit. I don't remember how many pieces were in the box.
heres an other pic of the rear section.

.095 isn't too thick. Probably about the same as Polaris. Just the extra pipe would probably be the only extra weight.
It looks great. Do you remember how long it took to weld?

FEDEX says package is 95lbs. I can try to subtract the old cage and bumper weight and we will have our answer.

The stock cage weighs 36lbs not including the bolts. I used the unscientific method of standing on a scale with the front piece, then doing the same with the back piece.

The Weld yourself cage weighs in at 80lbs with no welds or bolds. You can call it a 50lb increase.

More encouragement to loose that 15lbs I've meaning to take care of. (The human chassis )

Wow Mungo, that really looks great! About to place an order for one myself. Plan on white cage to keep with the "White Lightning" theme, but that red really stands out! Did you need to change anything in order to fit any Polaris accessories, primarily that Lock 'N' Ride Cargo Box? Also do you know if the plastic Polaris quick clamps fit the new tubes? Sorry for all the ? just making sure before pulling trigger on $800+...have very specific mods planned! lol
You will notice that I lost the V bars and lower cross bar behind the driver seat. This was because the welder was worried that the cargo box would not fit. My setup allowed me to keep the cargo box but I lost full access. I can open it enough to grab small stuff, but full access requires that I pull off the top (easy). I added som custom gear panels that I love.

My welder goofed and I believe he could have kept the V and cross bar had he not relocated the new weld on bolt joint to the bottom of the rear brush guard potion of the cage. I plan to add the crossbar in, but using those weld on clamps that will make it removable.

The diameter of the cage is 1.75" which I think is the right size.
Is this still available, because I can't find it on your site?
