What's your thoughts on extended warranty? I was quoted around $300 today for what she called a year extended warranty. When I asked if it started from date of purchase, or at end of original warranty, she said .. It started at time of purchase. Wouldn't this make it a 6month warranty? Sounds kind of expensive to me.

Yea there's much better options out there. I believe most let you buy as long as you're still under factory warranty. Read through this thread for some options.....
