Will they fit

18037 Views 42 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  Ace Kat
I know this is probably a silly question, but I was going to put an extra set of ITP wheels and bighorns I had laying around. These are my spare set for the rzr. In theory I think they should fit as it seems most polaris wheels are interchangeable within different models.

As I was putting one on the front, it sure didn't look right, could just be me and my mind, but it didn't look right.
Of course the stock wheel has a monster center hole and the ITP has a small hole... But I was just wondering if anyone knows for sure they are interchangeable.

Any help to clear my mind would be appreciated

The best I can offer without getting some measurements from you is to suggest that you go through this thread.
I put them on, they fit...just my brain got in the way

These are a spare set for my rzr
26" bighorns
12" wheel
12" wide rear
9" wide front

Made front width 51 and rear 54-1/2 or so....

Think I would like to find 8" fronts and 10" rears

Looks mean, haven't driven it.. Will do that tomorrow

Stock tires are silly small and cheap :)
Yeah, stockers suck.
That does look mean. No offense intended, but it also looks a bit silly. Somewhat out of proportion, like a midget. A mean one.
Then again the whole ACE kinda looks that way.
I'm thinking need to go 8 on front and10 on rear, but stay with 26's

But these are just laying around so I'll run them while I search for new wheels I like
Big 26" bighorns

Went out for a test drive today, had a little loss of power... But not that much... Still was able to hit 50 on the road..just took a little longer

Not sure these are permanent. But will work till I figure out what I want

Well, thanks for trying it so I don't have to. :)

One day, I will probably restart my search for 12x6 or 12x7 wheels with 4+2 or 5+2 offsets.
But not today.
Hey, I don't suppose you were watching a GPS when you hit 50?

I wonder how well the speedo is calibrated, and what speed we really are going when it says 50.
If it's calibrated well at stock tire sizes, you might have been going faster than 50 in reality.

I thought about grabbing the GPS. But figured the batteries were dead.

I think the rims size is fine... It's just the huge ass bighorns... I want 26" x 10 for rear and 8" for front..but they don't make them in a 12" wheel size.... I don't think I want to run 25's on it as this thing needs as much ground clearance as I can get

There's always a trade-off, ain't there?
They do make BigHorns in a 26x9x12, and they'll fit on your wheels.
I have 26x9x12 all around on my RZR.
i just put rzr LE black crusher 6" wide wheels with Mongrel 26x10x12 all the way around. I ended up having to put 1.5" spaces in front & 1" in back (did not have to do back except to make outside same front & back) It is now 53" wide both ends. I have not gotten to ride it to see if any power loss. I will try to take some pictures on Monday when get back home. Probably too wide for back of pickup now. LOL
Darin, I was wondering how much power you had lost due to the Big Horn tires which I feel are the best all round tire made.. They are wide and heavier and with going to the wider wheel had to rob some power.. I getting 52 mph out of my ACE equipped like yours without BH tires but 12 inch aluminum wheels.. I'm very pleased with my ACE..
I'm going with 25x8x12 tires on 12x6 RZR LE wheels all around, I've learned from my past RZRs that usually oversized tires and wheels not only rob HP but handle worse!! Most people think they need monster truck tires and don't even use all of the traction available from the stock tires!! (unless your mudding or doing some extreme terrain all of the time) Must be a visual thing, I don't get it. All of the GNCC and off road racers have known this for years.

I like the 26" tires for the clearance... Width isn't important to me, but with mountain riding and Moab it is all about clearance and the 26" tire gives me the extra I need...

long drive from Oakland to Moab. Ever ride in the Snowy's in Wyoming?
Never been to Wyoming... We go to Colorado every year and throw Moab in every other year or so... Yes long ass drive
I also have an ACE and I am looking at buying some aftermarket rims and I cannot seem to get any specs for this thing. I am looking at buying a set of ITP SS212 (12x7) rims with a 4+3 back space and 28" Silverback Mudders. Polaris told me the largest tire I can get is 26" what is your take on this? I am probably crazy for wanting to put these things on my ACE but I am asking you all because I honestly know nothing about this stuff.

What is the width of the tires you want to go with?? How wide the tires are will be the problem if they rub or not. The 28" is the height of the tires which shouldn't be a problem.
