When and why did Polaris stop making the Ace?

Hi all,

I found out about the Ace less than a week ago, and today I figured out they're no longer making them.

Any input on When and Why Polaris stopped making the Ace would be much appreciated. (Interested in the Ace 570SP for the wife.)
